Hello, I’m Daniela, the founder of NUUDE — an online lingerie store based in South Africa.

I started NUUDE during a period of change in my life. It was a time when I found myself slowing down, turning inward, and reconnecting with myself.

In that stillness, I began to understand something simple but meaningful:

There is beauty in taking a moment for yourself.

For a long time, I didn’t always know how to choose myself. I was learning to slow down, to be present, and to make space for myself in ways I hadn’t before.

Somewhere along that journey, I discovered lingerie.

To me, lingerie is deeply personal. It’s something chosen quietly and intentionally — something you can wear even when nobody else is going to see it.

It doesn’t always have to be about being seen. Sometimes, it’s simply about how it makes you feel.

What I love about lingerie is that it can mean something different to every woman, and I think that’s part of its beauty.

You can wear it for yourself. You can wear it for someone else. You can wear it for both.

There doesn’t need to be one reason or one way to wear it.

And perhaps that is what I love most about lingerie — that it can meet you wherever you are.

Because you are not just one version of yourself.

Some days, that may look like choosing something simply because of how it makes you feel — something beautiful that belongs just to you. Other days, it might be something more playful, bold, romantic, or meant to be shared with someone else.
